Hey guys,
today I feel ready to give you a reasonable review on Kylie Cosmetics. I ordered three liquid mattes in total so now I got Poesie K, Candy K and Dolce K.

The shipping was a pain in the *** this time, we had to pay an additional customs fee but it’s chill :)))).

Let’s start with Candy K:
What I like about Candy K is that it feels a lot lighter and softer on my lips compared to Poesie K. It doesn’t feel quite as dry and at the same time I feel like it even lasts a tiny bit better. I will say none of the shades I tried reeeally stayed on through a normal meal, for some reason Poesie K is the weakest in terms of the food test.

left to right: Poesie K, Candy K, Dolce K
What I don’t really like about Candy K is everything else to be honest. I’m not a fan of the shade itself I had hoped it would just look more like a lighter brown with a slight pink tint to it, but it looks a bit too pink on me for my liking. I just feel like it is too similar to Poesie K, if I’d were these shades on different days I’m sure no one would even notice those were different shades. It looks a lot different on the packaging and I was pondering between Candy and Exposed for the longest time and I keep thinking maybe I would’ve liked Exposed better…

Dolce K:
Dolce K is everything I ever wanted in a matte lipstick. It is just as soft and light as Candy K, it stays on the best throughout a meal (or several drinks) and I am obsessed with the colour.

Poesie K:

Poesie K was the first shade I tried, I've had this lipkit for quite some time now and I must say the formula of this one is not quite as smooth as the formula of Dolce or Candy K. I do love the colour a lot though so it's probably my second favourite right after Dolce. Here's that one on:

All in all this was probably (and hopefully for my bank account) the last time I ordered from Kylie, I like the quality I just think there are cheaper options out there (cue: colourpop). I do think some of her lip products are very unique like the metals, but I’ve heard so many people say Colourpop is basically the same product (when it comes to mattes) yet it is a loooot cheaper.
